Lately, I’ve been struggling with Unwritten Magic. Every time I open the document, it feels like I’m forcing myself to write something I’m not ready to tell yet. I love the story, the characters, the world, but the spark just isn’t there right now.

And I think I know why.

I can’t stop thinking about A Kingdom of Fire and Need. That story has been haunting me in the best way possible. It’s intense, emotional, full of longing and danger, and everything I love writing about. Every time I daydream, it’s that world that calls to me, not Unwritten Magic.

This isn’t goodbye to Unwritten Magic, just a pause. Sometimes stories need time to breathe before they can truly come alive. And right now, Fire and Need feels alive in a way I can’t ignore.
